Description: *Please make sure that you go into your netbook’s BIOS and set the USB thumbdrive as the first bootable device. This way when you’re done with this process, just keep it plugged in and reboot and setup should start* This quick video is to demonstrate how one would take the Windows 7 DVD image (ISO) and copy the setup files so that one can install Windows 7 via a USB flash drive. I used this process to install Win 7 on my new Acer Aspire One Netbook. All hardware was detected flawlessly BTW. Very quick. Very pleased.

I installed Windows 7 on my current computer, but it turns out I’ll be getting a new one next month. The Microsoft guy said that I have to option to uninstall Windows 7 and deactivate the key so i can install that same windows 7 on a different computer. How do I uninstall Windows 7 and deactivate the key?

Description: A funky, buggy song about XP, sung by XP and produced on XP… I made this in 2004 as an experiment with synthetic vocals and after this actually became some weird musical “interaction” between Sam and me, I sent it to Redmond as a funny example of “start something…” Guess what… they didn’t answer…

All (!) vocals by Microsoft SAM. FAQ: Q: How did you make Sam sing? A: I used the Steinberg Voice Machine VST plugins in the Cubase recording host program. Q: How do you record Sam? A: Set your Windows audio mixer to record either “Wave” or “Speaker” output. Then you can record Sam with any audio recorder program (I recommend the Audacity freeware)

There are a lot of Windows XP services I know I can shut down on my gaming computer….( I don’t print or do much besides gaming on it). Anyone have a list of what is safe to turn off so I have more resources and power for the gaming? Thanks!

The guy at the computer store just told me Windows 7 Starter is easier to use and it teaches you how to use the programs, and it’s less complicated.
In what way is it less complicated to use than Windows 7 Home?
I still don’t get the difference.

When I start up my other computer, it goes to the windows xp logo sign like its loading up. Then it freezes and 2 seconds later, it restarts and it does the same thing over and over again. I know that someone hacked into my computer to change the BIOS thing. So, does anyone know how to format/reinstall Windows xp?

I have a laptop using WIndows 7, and I am currently using it to display something for a booth I am working. Unfortunately, within 20 minutes the computer goes into standby mode, and I can’t seem to do anything about this. I can disable the screen saver, but nowhere can I find an option for standby mode. Could anybody help me out with this?
