Hi NoNo,
Beach Bum Daddy is correct, if you chose to go back to Windows 7 Home Premium, you would need to back up all your data to an external hard drive and do a reinstall of Home Premium. Ultimate is the same OS, just with increased features…I am guessing will want to stick with it! However here is a resource to help you decide between which between version suits your needs: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/compare?T1=tab09
Best of luck with your decision!

You cannot downgrade, you will have to reinstall the Home Premium version.

You should check out the features in Ultimate first.
If you are a home user you will probably find there is not much extra in it that you’ll use.
